We’re heading to UK Games Expo!

Pack up the cart, gather the party – we’re heading to UK Games Expo!Raise the banners, sound the trumpets, send for the heralds – for the Role Play Haven is venturing
north to the UK Games Expo! Held in the NEC and Hilton Hotels in Birmingham for the 31 st of May to
the 2nd of June, the UK Games Expo is the biggest hobby games convention in the country and our
amazing volunteers will be there, representing the largest role play group in the UK!
UK Games Expo is an amazing weekend, with exciting chances to get dressed up, play the newest of
games and compete across multiple game systems! Re-enactment and Cosplay is alive and well at
the UK Games Expo so bring your best to Birmingham and share your amazing creations with fans
and fanatics! Or if being a hipster gamer is your thing (is that a thing?) you can play the newest of
new boardgames, with a 183 games announced – just released, kickstarted or still in play testing! Got
a competitive streak? There will be multiple tournaments across the weekend, ranging from
Keyforge and Netrunner to miniature games from Fantasy Flight and Games Workshop.
Still not enough? Brave the Wyvern’s Lair and pitch an idea for your own game to developers,
publishers and distributors! Or head to the stars in the Star Ship simulator, saving the solar system
with science and role play!

Find us on Stand 1-468

Perhaps the mightiest draw for the weekend… 355 role playing events. Nope, you did read that
right. Wanted to get in some Call of Cthulhu, Tales of the Loop, Star Trek, Nibiru, almost any system
you can think of?!? Well it’s all available across the weekend at UK Games Expo!
If you want to learn more visit the UK Games Expo website. Also, come visit us! The Role Play Haven
will be at stand 1-468, telling people all about the great work we do in organising role players, giving
to local charities and how people can get involved in our existing branches, or even starting their
own!
