The Role Play Haven began 13 years ago at the Lewis Club on the grounds of Lewisham Hospital. It has grown to become the largest tabletop gaming club in the UK, with a mission to give back to the community.
This achievement is not just the result of one person but rather the collective effort of past and present volunteers from committees and HQ, as well as the passion of our members who believe in our vision of fun, safe, gaming.
Dragonmeet was one of our first conventions and has given us incredible support over the years. Receiving a nomination here from such a prestigious figure in tabletop gaming, Sir Ian Livingstone, is a massive honor.
We are thrilled to receive the nomination for the Ian Livingstone Innovations in Games Award for the recognition of the tireless hard work of our volunteers. We strive to continue helping the community through Fun, Safe Gaming.
Garry received this nomination on behalf of the volunteers of RPH.
Words cannot describe how proud I am of the whole team at The Role Play Haven, who helped achieve this amazing feat of recognition for all the hard work we have dedicated to helping the community. A Massive thank you to everyone who nominated us. We are truly honoured.– Garry Harper, Managing Director of The Role Play Haven CIC
