The People at the End of Time – Mutant: Year Zero – Sunday Game

Slivers of humanity survive the Apocalypse. In the Ark, a small settlement at the edge of a dead city, the People live. You are the spawn of humanity, but not quite human. You are twisted funhouse images, mutated freaks. Your bodies and minds have incredible powers, but you are unstable. Fragile. None of the People are over 30 years old. Except your leader - the Elder. One of the Ancients, from before.

For decades, you have survived under the leadership of the Elder, living off of supplies from the Old Age. You built your walls high, and dared not to venture into the Zone. 'Danger lurks at every corner', the Elder said. 'The Rot will get you'.

But the safe days are over. You're running out of food, water, and the fight for what is left is turning violent. Gangs form, bosses on top, and grunts on the bottom. Fixers play both sides in the middle, only ever interested in turning a profit. And the Elder? The Elder can barely stand up on his own anymore.

So, to save your people and yourselves, you must venture out - into the Zone.

Mutant: Year Zero is a role-playing game where you play as mutated human beings living in a fallen world. On your shoulders rests the greatest responsibility of all: to save the last glimmer of civilisation from total annihilation.

There is a heavy focus on survival, roleplay, and exploration as you seek out solutions to your ever-growing crisis.

This game is suitable for new players and experienced roleplayers alike. Mechanics are easy to understand, and all you need are 10-15 six-sided dice (these can be provided by the GM).

The game does contain mature themes such as death, violence, survival and body horror. Safety tools will be used, and any themes players wish to avoid will be discussed during session zero.

Maybe, one day, you will find the Eden of legend, the Ancients’ haven from the encroaching hellscape. That’s where salvation and truth await, the stories say.

Maybe it’s all fairy tales. It doesn’t matter. You have no choice.

Content Warnings :

Game will contain themes of violence, starvation/thirst, survival, and death.
