The country of Varisia needs you!
Pathfinder - Rise of the Runelords part 3: Hook Mountain Massacre leading into part4: Fortress of the Stone Giants – 5 players - arcanist needed.
After the mayor of Magnimar asked you to investigate the troubling news from Fort Rannick, you have rooted out the ogre menace. Yet this seems but part of a bigger threat to the whole of Varisia. Can you trace it back to its source and stop the tide, or will all of Varisia fall to the unknown menace?
An adventure for 9th level PCs.
Game Age Rating: Mature; 16+, graphic horror, adult themes, grisly decisions
Wanted: Cooperative characters who are comfortable being thrust into the role of Hero.
In summary PC build rules are: 20 point buy, no evil, standard wealth, Adult age, Max HP at first level (average HP on level up).
You need to be characters that townsfolk can easily relate to.
Any core race or any Native Outsider (Aasimar, Tiefling, Fetchling, Ifrit, Oread, Sylph, Undine, Suli) or Catfolk
“Traditional” fantasy – no guns or technology.
All options chosen must be Paizo sourced and available in a free, legal and publicly available online source such as the PRD, PFSRD, or the Archives of Nethys or the Free Rise of the Runelords players guide or the Varisia Player Companion (not free).
Use the “Unchained” versions of the Rogue, Monk, Barbarian and Summoner (No Synthesist Summoner)

- Currently playing in a long running Rise of The Runelords campaign. I know the story arc well.
- I use visual aids (maps, pictures, handouts) to help set the scene
- For combat I use printed floor plans, flip mats and minis/paper minis
